Annie Oakley

Annie Oakley was based on a tv show with Gail Davis, but the Marvel comics version had a girl that looked much the same as their other blonde girl characters. This particular story has art by the team of Ross Andru and Mike Esposito, and was originally published in 1955.

Winnie The Waitress - FIRST LOVE #1

We've had Vic Herman's World War II character Winnie The Wac here before. "Winnie The Waitress" is a postwar variation of the same basic character for Harvey comics. During this period, Herman also did other comics for them, including "Little Dot".

Originally published in 1948.
