Comic books are something that are frequently cited as having and retaining value. And it is said that they are a good investment.
Is this true?
At http://finance.yahoo.com/news/those-comics-basement-probably-worthless-095537403.html , they tell us it ain't necessarily so.
Which has been my experience.
I like some of the comics, and I put some of them on my blog, but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy any of the more recent ones with the idea that they are valuable. Anything published after the sixties isn't usually in that great of demand, and would be valuable chiefly as reading material.
