POPEYE'S HOW TO DRAW CARTOONS by Joe Musial was originally published in 1939. It tells the reader how to draw cartoons in a manner very much like the "How To Draw Cartoons" feature that was part of Segar's Sunday Popeye comic strip of the thirties.
