THE GRAVIES

Dick Locher has died. He worked on DICK TRACY as far back as the late fifties and would work on it again after becoming a well known political cartoonist, finally retiring a few years ago. Locher also worked on THE GRAVIES,  a companion strip run with DICK TRACY. He is credited as "Dick" on some of the strips, as seen here.

I believe the crow seen in this strip also appeared in DICK TRACY during this period, although I have not read those comics in some time and do not remember how it figured in the story.
