For some reason, Superman kept talk about teaching Lois Lane a lesson in these stories.
So now Lois Lane says she's going to teach him a lesson.
Lois Lane cheats.
Actually Superman's agreement was with Lois Lane, not with whoever happened to be in possession of that piece of paper. So this is just more cheating so they can do something else in the story.
Hitting people with fish is supposed to be funny in some of things. I don't know why. It doesn't seem funny to me.
What Lois Lane said to begin with was "whatever I ask", but at any rate neither version rules out communicating by writing. This is just more cheating on the part of Superman.
