This is a Thorr story by Jack Kirby, but the Thorr in this story is a monster. As a matter of fact it is the same type of stone monster that Kirby had Thor fight in his first adventure a year later.

The Thor series began in JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY 83, August 1962. That adventure had the name "Thor" misspelled in a blurb the last panel, possibly as a reference to the earlier monster story.
