Herbie And The Cave Girl

Herbie was a fat little boy with magic lollipops that could do anything in a humor comic published by the American Comics Group in the 1960's. In this story, he uses one of his magic lollipops to travel back in time and meets dinosaurs and cave men, who scientists tell us didn't really live at the same time, but who frequently have been depicted that way in fantastic fiction. Cave girl characters are usually beautiful, but the one that Herbie meets looks just like him. Which evidently isn't what he really wants.

Ava Gardner and Gregory Peck appear as characters in the story. Herbie comics frequently had celebrities appear as characters in them.
