Thorr The Unbelieveable - TALES TO ASTONISH #16










JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #83 introduced the Marvel Comic's Thor, with art by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers, and Stan Lee credited as the writer. But for some reason, the name "Thor" is spelled with an extra "r" in the final panel. And it seems that name had been spelled that way in a Kirby story the year before, when it was used for a monster that was a dead ringer for one of the stone men of JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #83..
