Sally the Sleuth was one of the first comic book heroines, if not the first. Actually her adventures originally appeared in a pulp magazine, SPICY DETECTIVE. It was only later that her stories were actually published in the form of what we now know as comic books. We've had some of Sally's stories on the blog before, but it's been a while.
