Ray Cuthbert - Look guys, I'll settle this once and for all: Siegel and Shuster created Bat-Man. Siegel and Shuster’s “Bat-man” appeared in More Fun Comics #28 in January 1938 in a story entitled “Vampire Venom.” A year later (1939) Bob Kane was asked to copy the success of Siegel and Shuster, but he needed Bill Finger's help to make it happen. Siegel & Shuster's editor was the same editor who became Kane's editor - Vin Sullivan.
