Fighting Yank - STARTLING COMICS #45.

Fighting Yank is sorta like a different version of Captain America, but I tended to like his stories better, because his girlfriend was usually more involved in them. He also had the help of the ghost of an ancestor, who seems to have been the original Fighting Yank. And in this particular story there is also an old Indian with a magic charm.

The "helicopter" in this story appears to be an autogiro, because it has a propeller on the front and a wing. Helicopters were kind of new at the time and it's not surprising if there were still some confusion about them.

Harvey Hector Jr. - FIGHTING YANK #24

Another one-page filler from Al Hartley, this one from Better/Standard/Nedor's FIGHTING YANK #24.

Not really a Christian comic book story, but it does sort of foreshadow some of Al Hartley's later work for Spire comics.
