Superman: Believe It Or Not

DC Comics did not pay one thin dime for the character of Superman... believe it or not.

 

 

DC comics paid $412.00 for the Superman story by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster... they didn't anything for the character, ownership of which they seemed to assume came with the story.
