Sy Barry Phantom Comics





I always liked The Phantom, and Sy Barry was the artist who drew most of the comics I read. Here's some of his early work from the 1960's.

    The first tow PHANTOM Sunday strips you posted (10-8-61 and 1-7-62) are NOT by Sy Barry. These two were drawn by Bill Lignante who took over the Sunday feature for eight months before Sy Barry got the permanent assignment.
