MITZI OF THE MOVIES From MOVIE COMICS #3

MITZI OF THE MOVIES was a fictional comic strip in a comic book published by Fiction House that was devoted to comic book versions of popular films of the period. This particular story is from MOVIE COMICS #3. Art is credited to Matt Baker.

Mitzi Mayfair would sometimes carry a man as part of her act. Any resemblance here could be coincidental, but this Mitzi reminds me of her when she hauls that guy out of the drink.

Canteen Kate In FIGHTIN' MARINES #2

Canteen Kate's own title only ran three issues, but her adventures also appeared in other titles. Not long ago I had a story from ANCHOR ANDREWS #1. This time we have a story from FIGHTIN' MARINES #2. Art by Matt Baker.
