Kelsy Williams
How could anyone say this girl was "fat"? This was in a news story that I won't go into. No need to, other than to say it sounds stupid.
She looks pretty good to me.

Terry And The Pirates
I found this at "The Fabulous Fifties" blog. It looks a lot like some of my stuff where Charlie Brown fights the Spirit, but this time the art is by Milt Caniff.

While I'm on the subject of cliffhangers, I wonder how the Dragon Lady got out of that? Sometimes you see little pieces of serialized stories, and you can't help but wonder. But maybe I'll get ahold of the reprint books the other site was talking about.

Blue Beetle Crossover in Ali Baba
Crossover stories were less common in the good old days, but they occasionally had them. In this story, a little boy reading a BLUE BEETLE comic book is helped into an Ali Baba story in that issue by the Blue Beetle himself.

I wonder how they got out of that one. Oh well, it's a pretty sure thing that they did, since the Ali Baba stories were an ongoing series in the comic book at the time.

Waku Of The Bantu
Waku of the Bantu was another character in Atlas comics in the 1950's during the same period ( and in the same title ) as Jann of the Jungle. What was unusual about this character was that he was black. Usually the jungle heroes in this period were white. That was the thing that made them seem unusual in those stories.

Jann Of The Jungle
Jann of the Jungle is another jungle girl from Atlas comics, who brought you Lorna the Jungle girl. This particular story was originally published in JUNGLE TALES #2 in 1954. The art is by Jay Scott Pike.

Lorna The Jungle Girl Meets King Kong
Lorna the Jungle Girl meets King Kong, or at least a reasonable facsimile or two thereof.

Lorna The Jungle Girl - "The Devil Bird!"
Lorna was a sort of a rival Sheena at Marvel comics in the 1950's, only at that time the company was known as "Atlas". Somehow I usually liked the Lorna stories better than comics with the real Sheena.
Either one was similar to the television version with Irish McCalla.
