Torchy meets the dead end kids, I guess.
Actually the Gas House Kids were rivals of the Dead End Kids/East Side Kids/Bowery Boys, and I think that two of the main "kids" in those story are intended to be Tommy Bond and Alfalfa Switzer ( below ), who were both Gas House kids as well as Our Gang kids.
