CONNIE was an early science fiction strip, comparable to BUCK ROGERS, only the main character was a pretty girl.

Here we see an early use of the term "United Nations". This term was used to describe the allies during the second World War and in the postwar period came to be used for the international organization that has it's headquarters in New York.
