Guy Fawkes - HEADLINE COMICS #23

Guy Fawkes Day is celebrated in England by burning Guy in effigy. And sometimes here. Although the last time it was Obama my brother burned in effigy, more or less a modern version of the historical villain who plotted to blow up Parliment.

Here we have a Simon and Kirby story about Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot from HEADLINE COMICS #23.

Here's something by my brother Dale.

My lungs got so bad I'm not supposed to breathe any more smoke, so I'll have to settle for the cartoon this year in place of burning Guy Fawkes or anyone else in effegy, as we often did in the past.
