There was another installment at http://fourcolorshadows.blogspot.com/ , but I didn't have enough interest in this strip to post more here. A couple of observations on what has gone on so far :



The first panel is drawn off a photo of Harold Lloyd hanging off a clock in the movie SAFETy LAST.

Harold Lloyd had released a compilation film with this scene in 1962, Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy.

The Rats were a motorcycle gang led by Harvey Lembeck in the then current Beach Parry movies.

Although the stars of those movies were Frankie Avalon and Annette 

Funincello, the Rats were popular and appeared in most of the films in the series.

 Pauline MacPeril was a 1960's spoof of THE PERILS OF PAULINE, similar to PAULINE PERIL, although it predated that comic, which wasn't published till 1970. The strip was written by Mel Lazarus and drawn by Jack Rickard, and lasted less than a year.
