LORNA THE JUNGLE QUEEN #3 - "The Lost City!"

 

 

Lorna the Jungle Girl is one of my favorites. In earlier issues she was called Lorna the Jungle Queen. In this story she actually makes a reference to being a queen while facing death. This story was originally published in 1953 and was written by Don Rico, with art by Werner Roth.

"Track Of The Killer!" - LORNA THE JUNGLE GIRL #8

Lorna the Jungle girl is one of my favorites. So when this one turned up, I just had to put it on my blog, even though the blog isn't working very well. Especially since the story involves a giant croco-gorilla. Lorna also had stories with just plain giant gorillas, presumably because of King Kong.  Story by Don Rico, art by Werner Roth. This story was originally published in LORNA THE JUNGLE GIRL #8 in 1954.

The comic book LORNA THE JUNGLE GIRL was originally LORNA THE JUNGLE QUEEN. And this story is a reprint from the 70's title JUNGLE ACTION.
