Superman Meets Martler

"Black Magic On Mars" has Superman and Orson Welles battling a would-be Hitler on the planet Mars while the people of Earth think the whole thing is a sham like Orson Welles' previous "War Of The Worlds" broadcast. The story supposedly takes place during the filming of BLACK MAGIC, a real-life movie Orson Welles was in at the time. Phooey On Phoonga

An early science fiction story by Ross Andru ( later of Andru and Esposito fame ),  originally published in UNCANNY TALES #15 in 1953. With that date, I think it might have been done because of THE WAR OF THE WORLDS movie that came out that year.

Although Timely/Marvel/Atlas had already done a couple of different Captain America stories on the War Of The Worlds theme even before this.
