I understand that many fans like Katluta's Shadow comics. But I don't have any of the DC comics that he did. He did some artwork for the "Coils Of Leviathan" comics that were published by Dark Horse comics, I've got those.
Leviathan is some sort of sea monster that is mentioned in the Bible. The Bible verses used in this story are from a later translation, such as the "NIV", rather than what people would actually have had in the depression years that this story is set in.
The word translated as "gods" here had been rendered as "angels" in prior translations of the Bible.
