During the period that the Iron Man and Submariner story was published, the name "Stan Lee" also appeared on fantasy series at DC comics, only it was spelled "Stanley". The Stanley in question was a little boy, who had a pet monster which only he could see. They later were joined by a leprechaun, a dwarf, and a ghost who claimed he was Napoleon, none of whom were ever seen by anyone else but the little boy. The series can be seen as similar to both BARNABY and CALVIN AND HOBBES.
