There was also a "Blonde Bomber" in the Green Hornet comic book published by Harvey comics in 1942, which wasn't too long after the Carole Landis article that called her the "Blonde Bomber" was published. This Blonde Bomber's adventures were drawn by Barbara Hall, who was one of the few women artists to be drawing comic books stories as the time.
Honey Blake is a newsreel photographer with a chubby sidekick like D.C. comics' "Johnny Quick",
but otherwise more closely resembles old serial heroines such as Pearl White as she leaps into action without benefit of super-powers. She might also be compared to Pat Savage of the Doc Savage adventures.
